KUNG FU, LIFE LESSONS AND 12 DAYS LEFT!

Watching Kung Fu Panda with my district.

Woohoo the countdown is on. This Monday I will start my final week in the MTC. It has been wonderful and difficult but I've felt Jesus Christ helping me every step of the way. I also got my flight plans! I will be leaving on September 20th at around 10 am (my flight is at 2:00) So come say your goodbyes before then if you'd like!

Not much to share this week, but we did watch Kung Fu Panda as a district! We all got in our pj's and brought our favorite snack / cereal. We've really had to improvise with this home MTC but there's always a way to make something fun! My district is seriously the coolest. ALSO not sure if this is just because I'm a missionary, but I noticed SO many good life lessons and analogies for the gospel in Kung Fu Panda! Here are a couple quotes and what I learned from them.

You are too concerned about what was and what will be...
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift...
that's why they call it present”
― Master Oogway

“If you only do what you can do, you will never be more than who you are.”
― Master Shifu

“There is no secret ingredient”
― Mr Ping, Po's father

1. Live in the NOW. If you think about the past or the future too much, you'll miss the moment. 2. Push yourself! You never grow in the comfort zone. 3. Sometimes we complicate life too much. The main character's father makes this amazing recipe but will never tell him the secret ingredient. He always thought it was the best soup in the world. At the end, his father tells him, "there is no secret ingredient." You just have to believe in something to make it special." And that is totally like the gospel! It's so simple, yet when people receive it they think, this can't be it! It ought to be more complicated! But it's not. It's simply the truth.

That's all from me!! Szia!! Have a great week!
