Week 7: Trip to Győr and a Fainting Companion 😲
This week was so great!
It went by fast but every day I feel like I'm progressing more in the language. We went to a different city to sign some legal documents. We got all the way there and they didn't have my records and told me I had to go to a different city to get them signed. We had traveled a bit by bus and train so we were a little annoyed BUT the day ended up being awesome!
We had lunch in the city and got to walk around a bit. We got hot chocolate and looked at the Christmas decorations. Christmas decorations are up early here in Hungary. We also gave our bus driver a book of Mormon! He was so kind and seemed excited about it. God always has a plan! Maybe that's why we had to go all the way to the wrong city, to give that man a Book of Mormon.
My comp fainted!

This was definitely one of the scariest moments of my mission. My companion sister Van Wagoner got the second covid vaccine shot yesterday. The first one she had no reaction to so we thought the second would be fine. But before bed she said she had a bad headache so she went to bed early. She woke up in the morning and felt really sick and got out of bed but then when I came back she was sitting on the ground and said her head hurt. She told me we maybe had to cancel some of our programs today which I was sad about but left the room to grab something. Then I heard a thud in the other room! She had fainted! She was really white and shaking a bit. Probably out for 20 seconds. The 20 scariest seconds of my life! Then she came to it and said whoah what just happened? She said she was going to throw up thankfully she didn't and she went back to bed. She slept for about 3 hours and I cleaned our entire apartment and called the mission doctor and worked out and studied. She finally came to it and ended up being okay! But definitely scary
Our friends
This week we met with K and B and H. We would have met with more but we had to cancel are programs on Saturday since my companion was not feeling great. Our friends are progressing slowing but surely! I truly believe any problem in life can eventually be solved through Jesus Christ! I still can't see all the answers for our friends. K situation is hard and it's a daily struggle for her, but I know she will find answers through gaining a testimony of Jesus christ and believing in God's timing.
If you're reading this email you may think that's so different than my life! I always thought that Hungary was this strange different land with different people. But coming here I have realized they're just normal people going to their normal everyday jobs! We get to share with them that God loves them. That they can change and that God has a divine plan for all of them! Alma 42:26-27 "And thus God bringeth about his great and eternal purposes which were prepared from the foundation of the world and thus cometh about the salvation and the redemption of man... Whosoever will come may come and partake of the waters of life freely" Try to be a missionary in small ways in all your lives! Remind people of God's love by bringing them lunch or sending them a text.
Have a great week!!
