Week 27: I moved apartments.... AGAIN!

I got letters from my cousins!

Hello hello! You know how I just got transferred to Budapest? I finally moved into our apartment and got all settled this week. It's a nice big apartment, in the most ideal area in Budapest, close to the Danube and everything fun in the city. Well guess what, we got a call yesterday saying that we had to MOVE out of our place by the next morning.  There are two new missionaries who were originally assigned to Ukraine, then reassigned to Germany, and now they are permanently assigned to Hungary! They have been everywhere and now have to learn Hungarian on top of everything! I'm sad to have to move especially because I just barely got settled  but I'm really happy to give up that nice apartment to some elders who probably need a nice place after being through so much transition.

I have tried to be a lot better at scheduling this week. I like having a daily set plan, but that has been really difficult in this position because we have many spontaneous meetings.  I made it a goal to talk to someone every time I got on the metro this week, and we go on the metro a lot! We stared conversations with people from all over the world. Nigeria, Malaysia, Scotland, and more! We also got their instagrams and even started conversations with a couple of them! It's still uncomfortable but almost every time I've done it it has turned out to be a good interaction!
Buying food for zone conference with the ZLs

Another thing we have been quite busy with is making advertisements for Facebook planning Zone Conference. The ads have been doing well! We have heard from missionaries that they have been getting quite a few referrals. We made an advertisement called " Free three lessons to grow your faith in Jesus Christ" and those 3 free lessons are the Preach my Gospel lessons that will be taught by missionaries! Sometimes it's hard to feel like you're doing the backend work of missionary work, but I know if I'm diligent I'll be doing what God needs me to be doing 😌

Hard parts about this week:

-Got sick
-Had to move apartments
-many many meetings online

Funny
-made huge language mistake on Facebook! I made an advertisement for our English class and posted it on Facebook and Instagram. And hour later I got a text from two Hungarians saying that instead of saying the street name of our building I had written "you all throw up!" Haha woops.
Tihany= street name.
Tihány= you all throw up
That's Hungarian for you.

-We have a plant growing in our sink!! It's so cute we named it Tod

Spiritual
This week we met with the sweetest member named Ági. She made us layered potato and Kolbász, a very Hungarian dish. We shared with her an Easter message about Jesus Christ.

Alma 13:13 And now, my brethren, I would that ye should humble yourselves before God, and bring forth fruit meet for repentance, that ye may also enter into that rest. I PERSONALLY  would like to enter into that rest. I'll come! I'll try to repent! Those were my thought this week as I read Alma. Why do we fight it? Why do we deny God's love and the REST that is promised to us from repentance and accepting God's love? I can't wait to find more ways to enter into that rest as I listen to General Conference next week!!!😇
