Week 47: LAST WEEK IN BUDAPEST

One more week in Pest before I get transferred! (Most likely)

This was a great week full of ups and downs. I realized rather too quickly that this is very likely my last week here in my area, in which I have served for the last 6 months! I have learned a lot especially serving in this leadership role. I am immensely grateful to have learned so much about leadership. I have learned how much goes behind the scenes, how difficult it can be to find a balance, and how important it is to put God first! I have had to opportunity to work with Christlike leaders, willing to get their hands dirty in the work. President and Sister Rucker really have so much love for each other. They love the missionaries, their family, the Lord and his restored gospel.

-2 of our friends named BalΓ‘zs came to church, and they both took notes! How cool is that? I think it's because sister Robinson and I both take notes.
- we watered trees as a district service activity! Met some awesome people there as well.

- I took pictures with a few families in our ward. Pest is the best!!! I love the members here with ALL my heart!!! ❤️ πŸ’™ πŸ’œ πŸ’–
Funny story...
This cute woman in our needed help getting to the city to pick something up. She hadn't driven since her husband died and was nervous to drive stick. After visiting her and having dinner, she asked us to help her get to the city. Her car stalled out twice and my companion miraculously helped her out while sitting in the front seat. Somehow she remembered how to work it ( even though my comp has driven stick once in her life!!!) When we finally got to our destination, this cute unknowing member drove up the exit from the famous Budapest opera house and her completely died right in the middle of the path. 2 nice cars pulled up and flashed their lights trying to get us to move! But they got out out helped us push the car. In the end it was all a miracle and definitely a great storyπŸ˜‚

Short spiritual thought. Who is more important, the sheep that goes astray, or all the ones that stayed and did good? I always thought that Jesus left the 99 alone in the field. Maybe they just sat there and waited for him to return. But another missionary mentioned today that where Jesus goes, we follow. And in this picture you can see the other sheep followed Jesus to rescue the lost lamb. They got to rejoice in the journey of rescuing a lost soul. How cool is that?!?!? Awh I could talk about it for hours. Here is a picture for reference.
