Week 67: Happy New Year 2023!

Miracle this week was going door knocking. We went to a neighborhood the day before New Years and knocked some doors. No one wanted to talk 😩.  But on the way back we talked to two girls about their dog and started a conversation. We ended up giving them a Book of Mormon and even got a facebook contact. That night one of the girls invited us to go swimming with them! Unfortunately we had to decline, but she sent me one of the most beautiful poems about God as well! Ah we just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Our efforts did not go to waste.

We made delicious Lazagna!

Lots of our friends have been busy around the holidays so it has been difficult to meet with them. We had some online lessons and visited a member who lives in the middle of nowhere!

We took a bus 2 hours away to visit a member.

Here are some other things I learned this week:

God is there and knows what we're going through!
He knows exactly how to comfort us when we ask him for help.

It is called the plan of happiness for a reason! If we don't at least try to feel the JOY of the gospel from day to day, what are we doing? This week I really tried to focus on the joy that the gospel brings.

"Yea we see that whosoever will may LAY HOLD upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil." - Helaman 3:29 We have to pay attention to the spirit in order to lay hold upon inspiration given from God. God gives us so much! What can you do this week to lay hold upon and grasp all the good he's giving?
Hope you all have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🎉
