Week 53: Köszönöm Isten a sok csodát!
This week was indescribable! Really so much happened. We went to Budapest for Zone conference and I got to see all my missionary friends from my last area
Zone conference was wonderful and it involved revelation about letting go of unnecessary weight and stress, role plays, kahoot, trainings, and throwing whipped cream at the APs.

Here are two crazy miracle highlights from the week....
I spoke to an older woman on the way to Buapest and we became friends. At the end of the bus ride her friend, a man came to talk with her because they were good work friends and he saw that we were talking. He asked who we were and long story short, he walked with us (me, my companion and the 2 elders from our city) all the way to the stop at the mission home. He was highly impressed with out ability to speak the language, why we were here and the good vibe that we gave off. He asked for our contact. He is from Eger but works in Budapest. He told us he would love for us to meet his family, his wife and daughters and his dog in the countryside. We met with him again this past Wednesday at a restaurant to get to know him better before going to his house. We had a great conversation about missionary life and the work we do. This past Sunday we did indeed go to his house in the countryside. He was so kind and respectful. We met his wife and daughter and the daughters friend and their big fluffy dog named Borris. We all sat around their dining room table and gave everyone a book of Mormon. We read Alma 37 with them
crazzzyyy stuff! This family has never been religious and really dislikes the prominent churches here in Hungary. I can't wait for them to meet our sweet little branch.
crazzzyyy stuff! This family has never been religious and really dislikes the prominent churches here in Hungary. I can't wait for them to meet our sweet little branch. 2 weeks ago we handed out about 20 English fliers in 30 minutes. We made them a goal to give them all away. We gave one to a cute middle aged woman sitting on a bench and she was so excited! She spoke English very well but promised us she'd come. She even asked if she could give us both hugs! 2 weeks go by and no sign of her. No call, she didn't come to English class. We almost gave up hope. Well this week we received a call from her and she came! We held a private lesson with her upstairs. We talked in English for about 15 minutes and I began to mention God and how it's because of God that I am here. I asked if she believed in God and she started tearing up. With tears streaming down her face she asked if she could tell us a story. My companion and I looked at each other knowing that God had definitely lead this woman to us. She recounted had this has been an extremely difficult time in her life. Going from being a professional violinist to not knowing what to do in her life, traveling abroad but feeling empty. The day we met her was when she felt so so lonely. She told us that when she prayed that day on the bench we appeared out of nowhere! She literally called us angles. We taught her about the restoration and had a deep conversation about God and how he is aware of her situation. We are now going to begin teaching her! She really needed us and we need her. The goodness of God is the only explanation for this story and how our paths crossed with this sweet lady.
These were to 2 big events of the week! Other than these, we also went to Miskolc for our district activity and picked up trash in the city. It was a good time.
I really do love being a missionary and Eger has some work to be done especially with the less active friends, but God is working through us! Isaiah 40:28 "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding." I need to keep trusting him.
Thats all! Jó hetet kívánok!
