We did a service project raking leaves and they were so confused why we were a bunch of Americans living in a small city spending their day looking how to help others. This was aired on the 6:00 news!
I talked all about what we do every day as missionaries and what our purpose is here. It was such a good experience.
The VP Mayor reached out to me to come to the town meeting next week.
Dear Madeline!
We heard from the press, that on this week you and your friends helped with the park planning tasks at one of our city companies. We are glad that such helpful and friendly people came to our city from the other side of the world. 🙂 We would like to invite you to a friendly meeting at the town hall! How long do you stay in Eger?
Best regards,
Attila Farkas
Vice Mayor of Eger
It's so exciting we can have such a positive impact as missionaries!
ALSO.......
We have transfers this week. Sister Danneman is moving and I will be getting a new companion here in Eger.I am feeling all kinds of different emotions, especially this being my last two transfers. I love sister Danneman with my whole heart and I want her to stay here in Eger with me
But I know she must move on.

| Our Friends are going to miss Sister Danneman. We made her a fun popup card and some other things. She was so grateful! |
My Dad reminded me of something important that God has never let me down before. Every area and companion so far has been just what I needed. Why would now be any different? I am continuing my goal of reading the Book of Mormon in Hungarian by the end of my mission. I am trying to soak up EVERYTHING and find things to laugh about every day. I am looking forward to strengthening even further my relationship with the branch, and I am making it a goal to make my companion feel loved! Who doesn't want to feel loved? I want to have the best outlook on my situation.

Weekly Miracles!
- One miracle is that we had 11 people in English class!! Remember when we had the same 3 old men week after week? Well I don't know what's happened but so many people come now! We pray at the beginning of each lesson, end with a spiritual thought, and concluded with prayer. It's so awesome!
-I finished my MDT auditions! Finallllyyy. After praying, pondering, and struggling for a couple hours at night I was able to write something so authentic. I'm really proud of myself.
- we met with "B" and talked about the Book of Mormon. She was really grateful for it and her life has turned around a bit since we last met. I can't wait to see her progress.
- we had an amazing lesson with the girls and invited them to church. They didn't come but our new referral did!
- we had two returning members in sacrament.
- I got to sing in sacrament meeting and it was great! Our members needed it I think

Some weird things/ funny moments
- one of the friends that we started teaching doesn't really have the same view as us on prayer... we had a very interesting conversation and at the end she put her hands over my eyes and rung a tuning fork (if you know what that is.) She told us to listen for the sound of love

My revelation, God will not stand for wickedness! He cannot! It is simply against his nature. I read in 3 Nephi 20: 17-18 and remembered how powerful God is.
"17 Thy hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
18 And I will gather my people together as a man gathereth his sheaves into the floor.
19 For I will make my people with whom the Father hath covenanted.."
We don't have to fear. If we stand for righteousness, God will keep his covenant with us. We are his covenant people as we remember our promises.
