| Library at the University in Eger |
This week we went to study in the university. I had been inside before and it was just a nice quiet place where we could have a change of scenery. We were trying to find the normal library that we went to last time, but I accidentally went up too many floors.
We found the oldest looking, most magical library I had ever seen. Straight out of beauty and the beast! They had books and documents all the way back from 1047!! We did language study and reveled in the smell of old books, watching the steady rain fall outside.

On Sunday we taught "N" about priesthood and prophets. It went really well and she was so sad when we told her that a real apostle (Elder Bednar) has just barely come to Hungary and she didn't get to meet him. We also helped a girl named "AN" in our ward start working on her mission papers!!
Giving a Book of Mormon to my friend "A" was one of the best parts of this week. Sometimes when you give out a Book of Mormon and you're not sure if they'll read it. This was not one if those times. "A" is the older sister of our friend "E" who I met near the beginning of my service in Eger. We had a wonderful night with them and had a spiritual moment at dinner reading about becoming "Even as He is." 3 Nephi 27:27. After the thought, she asked to see the Book of Mormon. She turned it over in her hands, flipped through some pages, tried to read some of it. "E" told her excitedly that she had one too! "A" handed it back to me and we went on with our night. In the car on the way back home, we got to explain all about it and we gave her one. She told us she was excited to read it!
I have seen these past couple weeks how God has been able to weave the gospel into the lives of these girls. In turn, we have been greatly blessed by "E." We counted and because of her, we have been introduced to 12 new people! Not that we are all teaching of course. But connections and relationships! She invited two of her friends and now we are teaching them English. She is just like a light magnet that brings people with her wherever she goes! So I am truly feeling blessed having the opportunity to meet the "N" family. We have been equally blessed by each other and I hope to see their progress continue in the gospel.
"E's" grandma made us fresh home made soup. She used to be a forester and her husband was a hunter. So they grew and raised all their own food. We had fresh farm raised chicken from her own backyard farm as well in the Paprikás Csirke😊

| They loved the "Peace in Christ" video made before I left for my mission in Hungary. Her grandma was just saying over and over how beautiful it was. I have Hungarian subtitles. |
Lately, I have been looking at that calendar feeling distracted and wanting more than anything to actually be home. I've already served 18 months. I've dove enough. Can’t I go already? But this morning I was truly humbled by the Savior. By His character as I realized It's not about me. If I am converted to CHRIST and I really know Him for myself, then I can focus on sharing the simple thoughts of my heart. Christ always turned outward, when the natural man would turn in. We won't be perfect at it, but we can try our best to emulate His character.
I just have to speak to the one, give time to the one, listen to the one, love the one, ask about the one, share how God feels about the one. And if done with love, that "one" will invite another "one." If I do this I will know what to say and how to act. Stress goes we away and joy comes in. I would like these last two weeks of my mission to be precious. I would like to give my time to each one. Look each one in the eyes. I am honored to wear Christ's name physically for two more weeks, and I am excited to continue to wear His name through my actions when I am home. I trust my God. I trust His son. I know their light.
